  5. What is CUSTSVR?
  6. ----------------
  7. CUSTSVR is a customizable screen saver for Microsoft Windows written 
  8. by Esm Software.  When Windows is in screen saving mode, CUSTSVR displays 
  9. a moving 256 color image on the screen.  The movement of the images to 
  10. be varied in a number of ways and the images to be changed automatically.  
  11. The program allows the users to incorporate their own images by having 
  12. Esm Software convert their images to the proprietary Esm Software image 
  13. format.  Esm Software can also prepare images for the screen saver by 
  14. scanning pictures or photographs and then converting them to the *.ecs 
  15. format.  For more information on Converting Graphics Images or Scanning 
  16. Images install the program and click on the Help icon.

  19. Installing CUSTSVR
  20. ------------------
  21. If installing from a diskette run the program SETUP.EXE using File-Run
  22. from Program Manager.  If installing from you hard disk, copy all
  23. the files in a separate temporary directory. Then use File-Run. Once the
  24. installation is complete you may remove the temporary directory and all
  25. the files in it.

  27. The setup will ask you for your Windows directory and install the following 
  28. files into that directory: CUSTSVR.SCR, CUSTSVR.HLP, and CUSTSVR.WRI.  
  29. Because all Windows screen savers must reside in the Windows directory this
  30. program will not work if the correct directory is not specified.

  32. Once setup is complete an Esm Custom program group with two icons will be 
  33. created. You can double click on the Help icon to obtain detailed information
  34. on activating and setting up the screen saver.
